Beam of light: Anonymous Encouragement in Guilford
Yankee Institute is proud to present “Beam of Light” — A dedicated place to lift spirits by illuminating the many acts of quiet heroism, generosity, individual initiative and kindness that are happening every day across Connecticut during the coronavirus crisis.

Tiny painted rocks with words of encouragement can be found on benches and tables throughout the historic Guilford green. These little rocks are a beam of light during a time of uncertainty and insecurity for many. Things most certainly will get better. Thank you, anonymous painter!
