We believe….That college campuses should be places open to freedom of speech, of thought, of opinion. Connecticut’s college campuses claim they are big fans of diversity — but they’re not fulfilling that promise when it comes to diversity of thought. Students are being deprived of voices that dare to stray from conformist, progressive viewpoints.

Yankee Institute (YI) needs your help to introduce the principles of limited, constitutional government, free markets — and free speech! — to our college campuses. College students need to know there are smart, articulate people who don’t only parrot progressive ideologies.

That is why we are beginning the Campus First Initiative: we plan to bring speakers to college campuses who bring true diversity of thought to our college students and future leaders of Connecticut.
