STATEMENT ON POSSIBLE EXTENSION OF GOV LAMONT’S EMERGENCY POWERS

“The most serious labor shortage Connecticut faces is the lack of senators and representatives willing to do their jobs in Hartford.

If the last two years’ advances in vaccines, testing, treatments, and telecommuting weren’t enough for the General Assembly to resume its regular lawmaking duties, it begs the question of whether state lawmakers should continue getting paid, enjoying state healthcare, and racking up credit in the state’s generous pension system.

The paychecks of every legislator should be withheld if the governor’s emergency powers are extended beyond February 15 until the emergency has expired.”

There is absolutely no reason for Lamont to extend Emergency powers. We all know the legislators were able to vote on Bills etc all last year during the height of Covid. We have effective treatments, vaccines for those who want them, and not many people are being hospitalized. There is no emergency!! We have a 3 Branch Legislature for a reason.

These mandaes are the reason why CT is tanking on its economy. Teacher, transportation, and medical positions can not be filled if the candiate is not vaccinated. Do we need to start sending Parens Patriae letters, or maybe start reporting to the GAO/ Fraudnet on all the politicians agreeing with another extension?

I could create a book. There has never been Any evidence that we have been in a pandemic, look at CDc definition of a pandemic, and compare to Actual data. We have a testing pandemic of asymptomatic people afraid of the narrative presented to them. Stop this ridiculous intrusion on the fundamental rights of people. The government is not our mother.

There is no reason for this overreach to CONTINUE! Lamont has been running ct like a king from bible days. We the people of ct voted in a full legislature and they must do their jobs and stop giving Their power over to lamont. I am holding lamont and the legislature responsible for their IRRESPONSIBLE behavior and will let my voice be heard at the polls in november. OH and the lamont bribe money Being used Via earned incOme credit supplement only confirms he has to go. To hear Lamont recently said he wont do a statewide mask mandate because he sees it is not working in ny yet he still has our children in mask at schoolS, disgusting! Btw, i am completely aGainst all his wicked mandates and have been from the onset of this virus. Time for lamont and aLl in the legislature that support communism like him to go. People better wake up and use the power of the vote to let their voices be heard.

The masks don’t work, social distancing dOesn’t work and the vaccines don’t work. It has been proven by statistics and the length of time since it started. I say no extension!

There is no Reason for anyone anywhere to have emergency powers at this poinT-we are going into our 3rd year with covid and your emergency powers have made zero difference in How this has played out. TRuLy thinking adults can see these emerGency powerS for what THey are and it has not one thing to do with our health! – Not. One. Thing.!! Fight to close our souThern border so that 2,000,000 people and counting are not brought into our COUNTRY UNVACCINATED(!!!) in the middle of a pAndemic and then i will believe our GOVERNMENT cares About our health. Unmask our CHILDREN with what are being called “facial decoraTions” by Doctors in the know. Stop trying to mandate “vaccines” for childRen who are at as close to zero % Risk of serious complications From this virus as they can possibly get. Stop with all mandates! Since we all know the vaccinated can spread and get covid as easily as the unvaccinated, mandates serve no purpose whatsoever except to divide us eVen further! Those who continue to perpetuate this lying narrative will be judged. The truth will prevail EVENTUALLY -it always does, and You will want To be on the right side of history. Stop with the pretense that This is about our health!! Just stop!!!

Absolutely no extensIon of the emergency orders.

The governor of a state can not claim to need emergency orders when he Goes on vacation to A southern state.

A GOVERNOR can not claim To Need emergency orders when the issue Is two years old, meaning no longer a SURPRISE, and you have major resources (Federal covid-19 grantS) to handle said issue.

A legislature can not provide Ongoing emergency orders to a GOVERNOR when they just came back from a break in legislative SeSsion.

A Governor can not brag about having one of the most vaccinated CITIZENRY of the 50 states in the union with claimS It is KeepINg ct residents safe. while aT the same time CLAIMING to need ongoing EMERGENCY powers to keep said CITIZENRY safe when the overwhelming majority of states in the union no longer have ongoing EMERGENCY powers for their governors.

Absolutely no extensIon of the emergency Orders. The more powEr you give the GOVERNMENT the less freedoms YOU have as a Citizen. Wake up CT!

This is absolutely sickening. I completely agree every single senator should have pay and all benefits withheld if the unnecessary lunacy and tyrannical emergency powers are extended any further. I hope when it comes time for elections people remember this absolute tyranny it’s time for a change. And it’s definitely overdue for a new governor. Absolutely sickening disgusting and an overreach of power. And quite frankly pure laziness of a part of all the Senators.

Absolutely do not extend the governors powers!! This is a massive overreach on our rights and He is abusing our children in schools with masks that have Proven to be nothing more than a facial decoration. He Has no right to decide what we put in our bodies. And he is not following actual science, just the democratic narrative.

THose emergency powers should absolutely not be extended! We are a people capable of making informed decisions and we need to be doing just that. I am a private united states citizen with rights and freedoms granted to me through the US Constitution and the bill of rights. These rights and freedoms need to be protected. THE LEGISLATORS NEED TO EARN THEIR LIVING AND LEGISLATE accordingly. The fired employees need to be rehired and compensated for their losses. words, phrases and ideas that must be eliminated from existence in connecticut include: emergency powers, medical tyranny, vacccine passports, detainment camps, death rate, hospitalizations, be fired, bans, mandates, testing, masks, segregation and government overreach. Words that must come into our vocabulary include: make ivermectin and hcq avaialable. Let’s understand: this is not a pandemic of the unvaccinated. Everyone is getting and transmitting a virus. this is a man-made pandemic of fear for nefarious reasons. LAMONT’S EMERGENCY POWERS MUST CEASE IMMEDIATELY, and we the people of connecticut must stand up and speak out! legislators: this is up to you. the people of connecticut have elected you to make the responsible and right choice. You must do exactly that.

We all know THATMASKS DO NOT WORK, WE ALL KNOW THAT VACCINES DO NOT WORK. wE ALL KNOW THAT THERE IS HORRIFIC VACCINE INJURY AND DEATH. tHIS STOPS WHEN WE SAY IT STOPS. tHIS IS BLATENT AUTHORITARISM AND CONTROL. fORCING PEOPLE TO GET A VACCINE TO KEEP YOUR JOB IS UNCONSTITUTIONAL AND ILLEGAL. sTOP SUPPORTING businesses or venues THAT support blatent discrimination, and pit unvaccinated against vaccinated. This is meant to cause division and the masks in school are tied to educational federal and state funding. Start holding your legislatures and Senators accountable and vote those out that support these communist policies.
