Education
WE BELIEVE...
We believe…in parent choice in education. Competition is important — it incentivizes schools and educators to strive for excellence and provide the best education possible for students.
And we believe…it is the right and responsibility of parents to direct the education and upbringing of their children.
Connecticut has ranked near the bottom of education freedom rankings, with limited return on investment when compared to the state’s math and reading proficiencies. Although some of our state’s schools are excellent, we have one of the largest education gaps in the nation. Our children deserve better. A good education is a foothold on the ladder of opportunity that so many desperately need.
That is why we recently launched the Connecticut Center for Educational Excellence (CTCEE): It will provide scholarships to low-income students and serve as a repository of innovative policy on education reform. Learn how you can support CTCEE here.
